Brussels Airport commonly referred to as Brussels National or Zaventem Airport (IATA code BRU) is the international airport of Brussels. Currently consists of 54 contact gates and several carriers operate out of the airport, including the local Brussels Airlines. Some of the airlines that provide services are Transavia, Vueling, Turkish Airlines and Wizz Air.

Brussels Airport is the closest international airport to Brussels (about 14km away) and is partially in Zaventem and partly in the Diegem area of Machelen. Brussels Airport passenger terminal has four levels and two 'Piers' - Concourses A and B. Arrival gates are at Level 2 of the airport. Departures are at Level 3 - Gate A is for departure terminal to Schengen countries, and Gate B is for departure to Non-Schengen countries.

The Duty-free shops are in Concourse A and Concourse B (departure terminals). There are also many facilities available like baggage lockers, PostPunt, places of worship, wrap and travel (wrapping and insurance for your luggage), wi-fi in all waiting areas.
