Several transportation options connect the Pitkin with the local hotels, businesses and destinations. Most of the bus services are free, with a few exceptions. The first rural bus rapid system, VelociRFTA, makes a stop at the airport, as well. Several companies are permitted to offer transport services from/to the airport, and all of them are located at the Commercial Traffic circle, just when exiting the Baggage claim area.
