The tour starts in Exo Gonia, where you will visit the Byzantine church Panagia Episkopi that dates back to the 12th century. Afterwards, we will continue to Kasteli of Pyrgos, one of the five “kastelia”. Pyrgos is the highest settlement of Santorini and the island's capital before Fira. Its grey castle dominates the landscape, nowadays silently gazing the Aegean, still carrying memories of massive medieval battles.

Nearby the Pyrgos village, on the top of the mountain of “Profitis Ilias” is situated the Monastery homonymous. It dates back to 1711 and at its glory, it wielded great spiritual and financial power. You will finish the day in Oia. The sensation of the first time you ever lay your eyes on this architectural gem is truly something to remember for life.

Learn the secrets of cooking traditional dishes from a local chef in Santorini. The cooking classes are organised in small groups (up to 8 pax) and you will learn how to cook fava, Santorini salad, tzatziki, fried tomato balls, pastitsio, chalvas desert.

Dare the experience and let yourself be seduced by one of the biggest active volcanoes in the world while we are taking care of all organisation details. Departure is from the old port of Fira or the new port Athinios.

We will arrive at the beach of Palea Kameni and swim in its hot waters of 35 degrees Celsius / 95 degrees Fahrenheit. Afterwards, we will sail above the crater and visit Thirassia, a nearby small island. Here you can swim, eat and visit the traditional village Manola.

The next stop is Oia, at the haven of Armeni. You have the choice to return to Fira by boat or if you wish, you can extend your afternoon pleasure with a visit of the amazing Oia and return by our bus.

If you arrive by cruise ship in Santorini, disembarkation will be by tender boats to the old port of Fira. Then you get up to Fira by cable car (Round Trip Cable Car tickets - per person 8 euro) or by a donkey in a traditional way that many travelers choose for fun

In both cases, you will arrive at the exit of Fira cable car, where your licensed tour guide will be waiting for you holding a sign with your name.

If you want to explore the history of this island this tour is not to be missed…. You will be guided on an air-conditioned vehicle to the archeological site of Akrotiri, the remains of the earthquake, which was discovered in the bronze age of 1500 B.C. Here you will learn the myths and facts about Santorini. You will continue by visiting the lovely beaches of Vlichada and Perissa. Returning, you will be then taken to the traditional village of Pyrgos where there are many beautiful churches and a castle built of the top of the village. Before ending the tour and returning to Fira you will be guided to the Prehistoric Museum of Fira which contains original pieces from Akrotiri.
